Dove eravate voi, donne, tutte quante,
\nle domeniche che io vi venivo a cercare,
\na volte addirittura di-spe-ra-ta-men-te;
\nma voi, pigre, infingarde, noncuranti,
\nstavate tutto il giorno a riverniciare
\nle vostre lunghe, preziose venti unghie!
\nPoi ne \u00e8 passato di smalto sotto i ponti,
\nda quei tempi cos\u00ec lontani, incandescenti \u2026
\nOggi, qualcuna di voi, assai meno ambigua,
\nsi dichiara con frasette dal tono inquietante.
\nPer\u00f2 ormai io di voi tutte ci faccio un baffo,
\nquando dite \u201cSai che ti trovo affascinante?\u201d
\nSe devo essere sincero e un po\u2019 deludente,
\nsenza offesa, ma oggi … sto benone col cane
\ne qualche volta, solo per poco, qui, tra la gente! <\/p>\n
