\u00c8 un autunno strano, questo,
\nin cui le foglie tardano e non
\nancora si arrendono a morire.
\nOra anch\u2019io, come le foglie,
\nrifiuto ormai di arrendermi
\ne do invece un nuovo morso
\ndi gusto a questa mela che
\n\u00e8 la Vita, che il destino ci
\nregala \u2013 immeritevoli \u2013 a
\nnoi che non sappiamo mai
\nmorderla a tutto torsolo!
\nE potrei anche essere io
\nquello straniero avido,
\nche vorrebbe ancora bere
\nquei tuoi vent\u2019anni sapidi,
\ncome hanno fatto altrove
\npastori ai fonti alpestri,
\nnei versi d\u2019altri e ben pi\u00f9
\nillustri poeti laureati<\/em> … <\/p>\n
